Maria Tamila & Flora Chroma

In the organizer's words:

Maria Tamila returns to the Ruhr region after studying pop music in Mannheim. Her folk-inspired songs - influenced by artists such as Nick Drake, Sufjan Stevens, Joni Mitchell, José González and Lizzy McAlpine - capture the quiet poetry of spring and give listeners something to hold on to as the seasons pass by. Their lyrics explore the fine line between love and friendship, the complexities of polyamory, thoughts on vulnerability and finding acceptance in one's journey through life.

Following the release of their first EP "in my socks", the second EP "don't worry, be sad" is set to be released at the end of 2026. To celebrate the release of the first single "polly", she will be playing her first concert with a band: Daniel Ismaili (drums) and Miriam (bass).

Flora Chroma play guitar-heavy indie rock that fans of The Strokes, Fontaines D.C or DIIV would also celebrate, weaving together elements from a wide variety of styles to create their own signature style. Thematically, their lyrics range between rom-com and coming-of-age drama. Their musical language is both recognizable and multifaceted. The EP Elliptical Patterns , released in 2025, will be followed by her second EP in April 2026.
