As an actress and speaker, Marleen Lohse (Nord bei Nordwest, Die Kinder vom Alstertal) loves to slip into different roles. As a singer, however, she gets very personal on her debut album. She will be performing the songs from it live on stage on her headline tour "Wide Awake" in 2026. The album "Wide Awake" is a warm, atmospherically dense work with indie charm and pop appeal that follows Marleen Lohse's own life story, but above all celebrates the poetry of omission. In the wonderfully intimate minimal pop songs, she sings about love without love, about the big feelings in delicate details. The spotlight is dimmed here - to make room for stories that shine brightly, even in their quiet shimmer.
