Max Prosa & Meret Becker

Meret Becker has been a film actress and chansonette since the age of 17. Over the years, she has also developed into an entertainer, musician, composer, producer and artistic director of her programs. She sees herself as a performing artist and sound researcher. The self-taught, award-winning artist lives in Berlin and France and is the mother of an adult daughter. Since around 1995, she has been writing her own music, often minimalist and loop-like in structure, with delicate, quiet sounds such as music boxes or glass harps, combined with electronic processing. Some of her works grow into impressive pieces. She calls her style "optical music". She accompanies herself on stage - alone or in a duet with Max Prosa.

Max Prosa is a storyteller. Alone on guitar or piano, his art is shown in its purest form. He plays new and old songs such as "Flügel", which was written in 2012 and became famous on "The Voice" in 2020, and "Verschwende Dich", the title song of the film "15 Jahre". He has been working tirelessly on lyrics and songs for years, giving concerts and reading from his poetry collection "Als wir ein Sternbild waren", the first edition of which sold out quickly. His performances create a special atmosphere that makes you forget time and space. He tells of mothers and sons, kings and thieves and of transience, passion and love - always in his own touching way.
