May The Fourth – Star Wars Day im Planetarium

In the organizer's words:

"May The Fourth be with you": On May 4, we celebrate International Star Wars Day: On this evening, the Zeiss-Großplanetarium is all about the events that took place a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.... But is this galaxy really so far away?

We will take you on a journey to the astronomical objects from the Star Wars universe: from the desert worlds of Tatooine to the ice planets of Hoth and see if there are similar celestial bodies in our real cosmos. Science fiction meets astronomy: but what is actually fantasy and what could even be reality - and how do we actually find out?

On our expedition through distant and nearby galaxies, we are accompanied by the epic film music of the cult saga under the planetarium dome. Fly with us through space like an X-wing pilot through asteroid fields.

Special guests at the event will be star warriors from a galaxy far, far away. The @jaigalaar_clan will introduce you to Mandalorian culture and give you tips on costume construction.

The following tickets are only available on site at the box office and cannot be booked in the online store: Family tickets, group discounts, discounts/free tickets as part of cooperations (e.g. Berlin Family Pass) and tickets for wheelchair users and their companions (as there are fixed seats for safety reasons). Unfortunately, it is not possible to refund differences resulting from the purchase of regular online tickets. Therefore, please reserve the relevant tickets in advance via our ticket hotline. Unfortunately, family tickets are not available for cinema films, music and special events and no discounts apply within the framework of cooperations (e.g. Berlin Family Pass).
