Mind Enterprises: Electrifying Italo synth sound

Mind Enterprises is the aesthetic universe and musical dream world of producer Andrea Tirone, who grew up in Turin. Inspired by the effervescent, synth-driven Italo sound of the 80s, groovy disco basslines, hypnotic drum patterns and keyboard odysseys define the sound of Mind Enterprises. Tirone sees his ever-growing collection of vintage synthesizers as a palette of colors or an orchestra of artists, because "every single machine has a distinctive sound that is unique to that machine".

Together with his musical partner Roberto Conigliaro, who shares Andreas' taste in 80s fashion and music, Tirone has brought Italo disco to the world and the clubs. The two have accompanied the great Australian indie electro-pop band Confidence Man on their tour of the UK and played festivals in Italy, Spain, France, the UK, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Their live sound thrives on hypnotic drum patterns, funky bass lines and analog synthesizers. Each device on stage delivers a characteristic sound that shapes the overall picture - a pulsating, retro-futuristic soundscape in which past and present overlap effortlessly.
