With his album "Music Will Explain" ( Choir Music Vol.1) on Los Angeles's legendary Stones Throw Records Mocky puts a focus on capturing the sound of humanity with a choir, one mic and a tape machine. It got the attention of some of music's biggest tastemakers, with such heavy weights as Questlove and Jimmy Jam singing its praises. Now he brings his legendary Los Angeles Bi-monthly residency to Berlin and of course where else than Gretchen. You can expect intimate performances and special guests from Mocky's deep collaborators as a songriter / producer ( Vulfpeck/Feist/GZA/Kelela etc) and deep deep danceable grooves with an incredible international band.
