We're excited to present another evening with residents of Gaswerksiedlung:
This time, Mononoke and Kota No Uta will take over the Block1 stage with their distinctive blend of jazz, neo-/psychedelic vibes, and experimental sounds.

MONONOKE
...breaks with all musical complacency and expectations. Sometimes playfully harmless, sometimes brutally straightforward, the two jazz musicians don't mince their words and give free rein to their creativity in their songwriting.

The Berlin band founded by Fabian Rösch and Benjamin Geyer. Their musical passion is improvisation with a sound that moves between experimental electronic music, jazz, beat music and ambient. In 2019, they released their debut album "The Foreign Loomers", which they created themselves in a disused textile factory near Dresden. During the pandemic, Mononoke recorded two EP's which will be released on the label tunnel.visions in 2025.

KOTA NO UTA
...is a Berlin based artist, producer and singer-songwriter. Her experimental sound is rooted in neo-soul, psychedelic soul. A multicultural story teller, by nature, Kota writes her lyrics through the prism of metaphor and mythology, often inspired by daily observations of surroundings.

In 2023 Kota won a Female* Producer Prize by Sony Music Entertainment Germany and Music Woman, meanwhile releasing collaborative singles with various producers.
