Chris Thornton presents: The Salt-City-Allstars

Chris and Kokee Thornton (Kokee & Mr. Tea) were actually supposed to play a duo show to save the evening, but then the spontaneous idea came up to simply invite old and new friends as "reinforcements". It turned out to be a genuine Lüneburg rock'n'roll class reunion of the "Salt City Allstars". Unrehearsed, spontaneous and lots of fun on and in front of the stage. They played the musical balls to each other.
Too good to leave it at that, everyone immediately agreed afterwards: "We absolutely have to do this again!". The plan: Chris Thornton Jr. (e.g. Lake, Kingsize Taylor, Subway, Kapelle Roxy, FreakOutFamily, Jingo plays Santana...) is the musical ringmaster as "Mr. Tea".
The other well-known "artists" of the evening are, or were, active in the following bands from the scene: Threelance Lünatics, Subway, Kapelle Roxy, FreakOutFamily, Mc Sonics, Hombres con Rhythmo, Jack's Hammer, Eclaire, Bartellos, Totoo, Albrecht und Frey, Mighty Love Bombs, Teenage Idolz, etc.
It goes like this: Whoever of your esteemed colleagues has time comes along and then we laugh and rock together!
Whether it's rock, rhythm and blues, Latin, reggae, soul or swing, who knows what will happen on stage with this gang? And that's exactly what makes it exciting and frightening for musicians and audience alike...
