The Orange Soul Sensation

The orange soul brothers have a reason to celebrate - for 10 years now, TANQUORAY has been on the road throughout Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein to spread the message of "orange vibes". With over 60 concerts, 2024 was the most successful year to date for the three likeable musicians - and of course they want to top that in 2025. Intelligent song selection, convincing original compositions, exciting interpretations and perfectly coordinated interplay form the framework of the Tanquoray show. Between authentic blues, the finest soul-jazz and funky 80s sounds, there is always room for surprises.

Live, the three are in a class of their own anyway. Funky rhythms, two-part vocals and an orange mood are the trademarks of the 3 Soulbrothers.

Mayerl/Deiml (piano/drums) have been playing together in various bands since 1989 and harmonize perfectly on stage. In Sebastian Hofbauer, the two original members have found a congenial partner in 2023, a singer of caliber who fits in perfectly and at the same time sets new accents. Dusty also contributes his talents on bass, double bass, drums and beatboxing. Accompanied by piano and drums, two voices with exceptional expression and an impressive range come together.

Regardless of whether TANQUORAY interprets specially selected song material or presents its own material, it performs at the highest level, with body and soul.

In the anniversary program, the original compositions take up much more space than before. Songs by soul legends such as Solomon Burke and Wilson Pickett can be found on the setlist alongside more current pieces by Chris Stapleton or the Black Pumas. Funky tracks by Prince are played alongside material by lesser-known songwriters such as Al Wilson.

Dusty, Michon and Toby feel just as much at home in an elegant jazz club or an alternative cabaret stage as they do on a large open-air stage or at a city festival. The orange soul brothers are even available for private events or living room shows!

TANQUORAY is currently one of the most important voices of "blue-eyed soul" in Germany.
