Formed in 2014 and reunited in a partly new line-up since 2024, the band has developed a unique sound that encompasses traditional folk, country, pop and rock music and songs by artists such as The Waterboys, Paul Weller, The Dubliners, Ryan Adams, Wishbone Ash, The Pogues, REM, The Hooters and New Model Army.

Popular classics and traditional jigs and reels as well as original material can be found in TIRISCH's repertoire, arranged and celebrated with heart, passion, musicality and elaborate arrangements.

TIRISCH offers the audience a wide range of instrumental diversity. Whether fiddle, mandolin, western or electric guitar, banjo, accordion, pedal steel, bass or drums: here the melody and charm of Celtic folk merge with the power and dynamics of rock and pop.
