Musethica-Konzert mit Suyeon Kang und Fiori Quartett: Eintritt frei

From 14 to 19 December, Musethica is organizing its last concert week 2025 in Berlin. During this week, the Australian-Korean violinist Suyeon Kang will be teaching and accompanying the young musicians of the Fiori Quartet. The quartet was founded this fall at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin, where Suyeon Kang also graduated with highest honors. The Academy is a cooperation partner for this concert week.

The Musethica session is a great learning opportunity for the music students. In just five days, they play ten concerts, mostly far away from classical concert halls and in front of audiences who usually have little or no contact with classical music. Concerts are held in a clinic for patients with addiction and mental illnesses, in a prison for women, a school with an educational focus and a residential home for people with sensory and mental disabilities.

The primary aim of the training method is to strengthen the performance practice of the music students. The audience discussions, which are an integral part of the Musethica concerts, often open up new perspectives for the musicians, both on individual works and on their role as professional musicians.

We cordially invite all interested parties to the public concerts. Admission is free of charge.

Claude Debussy: String Quartet in G minor op. 10
Ludwig van Beethoven: String Trio in G major op. 9 no. 1
Friedrich Hermann: Capriccio no.1 for 3 violins in D minor op. 2
