Nachtflimmern by Sebastian Maihs (am Klavier Oleksii Aleinikov)

Sebastian Maihs and Oleksii Aleinikov present a wild mix from Adele to Kurt Weill, from Depeche Mode to Zarah Leander in pop or ballad versions in this contrasting musical debauchery.

The full-blooded actor Sebastian Maihs has an impressively large tenor baritone with a pure and floating high register and a dark, powerful depth. But his real trademark is his intense interpretations: His songs are highly emotional embodiments of the worlds of experience they contain, highly imaginative and tremendously moving.

Oleksii Aleinikov was born in the Ukraine into a family of musicians. After studying at the Music College in Kharkiv, he moved to Berlin in 2016, where he studied with Prof. Björn Lehmann at the University of the Arts and obtained his master's degree in 2024. In addition to his classical training, he also gained experience in jazz and as a bar pianist. Today he performs regularly as a concert pianist and moves musically between classical, jazz, neoclassical and film music.
