Nah dran - After Work

In the organizer's words:

Discover restoration and art in the evening: in a small group, up close, no prior knowledge required. With this new series, we invite you to experience old art and restoration in a special atmosphere after work - in the middle of the city center and after the regular opening hours of the church.

Art historian Friderike Conrad will first give an insight into the restoration workshop at St. Jacobi and then present a selected work of art in the church in more detail. The focus is on small and large works whose history often dates back to the Middle Ages.

We take an hour to take a closer look: quiet, concentrated and up close - after work, in the special atmosphere of a Gothic church.
