Spring 2020 in New Mexico. The pandemic also has the sleepy small town of Eddington in its grip. There, Sheriff Joe Cross (Joaquin Phoenix) and Mayor Ted Garcia (Pedro Pascal) face off in a battle that threatens to tear the town apart. When a murder shakes the fragile order, the violence takes its course.
