In the new three-part series, members of the Residenztheater ensemble will read new plays from Israel. It starts with "Shura (שׁוּרָה). The Craft of Identifying Life" by Roee Joseph, from the Hebrew by Heiko Mönnich. The second play to be presented is "My Uncle" by Ariel Wolf.

About "My Uncle" by Ariel Wolf

In February 1919, Kurt Eisner, the then Prime Minister of Bavaria, was murdered in the street by Baron Anton von Arco, a young officer. Many years later, two young people meet by chance in Israel - one is Ariel Wolf, a relative of Kurt Eisner, the other is the nephew of the murderer. The Israeli author Ariel Wolf is currently developing a play about this political murder and its consequences and reports on his research.
