Since their debut "Morgens", Verena Deege and Moritz Andrejewski have not only formed a permanent band line-up around singer and songwriter Lennie Gottberg - the sound and lyrics on their first album "Keine Sorge", which will be released in December, also speak a new, straightforward language.

Without betraying their raw guitar sound, Nevis oscillate between indie, pop, punk and singer-songwriter, sometimes melancholic, sometimes driving, then again in love or angry through their thirteen new songs - and belt out an inescapable joie de vivre in the process

What their live audience has long appreciated about Nevis can now finally be heard on record:
no slick studio production, but an honest band sound that proves that vulnerable German-language indie music doesn't have to sink into sad profundity, but deserves self-irony, euphoria and a few silly dance moves.
