To escape his family's matchmaking attempts, the Jewish Orthodox Ben spontaneously offers to fly to Alexandria to save what was once the largest Jewish community in the world. It urgently needs the 10th man to be able to celebrate Passover. In the Sinai desert, Adel, a grumpy Bedouin in search of his lost camel, becomes Ben's last hope. The two men can only move forward together, but how do you combine ultra-orthodox religious practices from Brooklyn with Bedouin pragmatism? When the car breaks down, it's soon no longer just a matter of eating together, but of bare survival.

Following the film comedy, Prof. Dr. C. Bernd Sucher, Chairman of the Liberal Jewish Community Beth Shalom e.V., Gönül Yerli from the Islamic community in Penzberg, the Catholic parish priest of Bad Tölz, Peter Demmelmair, the Protestant Dean Florian Gruber from Wolfratshausen and Assunta Tammelleo from the Association for Freedom of Thought in Waldram discuss the relationship between religions in the film and in reality.
