Nisthilfen bauen - Workshop für Frauen

In the organizer's words:

We build houses for bees and birds together

We use wood and other natural materials. We donate the houses to volunteer women.
They need the houses for their community gardens and green spaces. Many birds and bees live there. In technical jargon, the little houses are called "nesting aids". In our building workshops, you will learn

• Which birds and bees there are in Berlin
• Which houses (nesting aids) are good and useful for the animals
• How to work with wood
• Which tools to use for this

We donate the houses (nesting aids) to the community garden wachsenlassen and a wild plant project. In this way, we are helping nature and the environment. The event is part of the project "Climate protection integrated - women for a better environment".

Just come along when it suits you - you are also welcome to come with your children.

The workshop is free of charge and no registration is required.

The workshop is aimed at women from all cultures.
Are you learning German or do you want to improve your German?
Then you've come to the right place! You can speak German with us and practise in a relaxed atmosphere.
Do you speak German as a native or second language?
Our German learners are happy to talk to you. Through direct exchange, you can improve your language skills in a practical way.
In a quiet and friendly environment, you will also have the opportunity to discuss environmental, climate and nature conservation issues - and get to know new people and exciting places in the process.
