"Countless Feelings But So Few Words" - orbit's debut album - begins with this memory. After half a decade full of stories, experiences and encounters, Marcel Heym aka orbit released his long-awaited first album in November 2025 and is now bringing it to the stages of this world.

The album brings the nostalgic coming-of-age narrative that orbit began in 2020 with Perspectives to an emotional conclusion. Countless Feelings But So Few Words is a look back at a symbolically ending "long summer", a personal reflection on growing up and a farewell to a certain attitude to life that has shaped the young musician's art up to now.

orbit looks back on an era that has seen him and his friends move in ever wider circles: From rural northern Germany, across Europe to the legendary Burning Man Festival in the Nevada desert.

Five years have passed since the now 30-year-old producer Marcel launched the orbit project. In his early twenties, he moved to Berlin and began working there as a music producer. But the noise of big city life didn't bring him what he was looking for. He returned to his home town, back to the Weser, to nature, to his circle of friends. Here he finds peace and artistic freedom. The result is a project that is allowed to grow organically without being rushed.

And that's exactly how it sounds: with a soundscape of intimate acoustic sounds, dreamy, distorted vocals and atmospheric synths, orbit has found a way to express inner dream worlds and combine them with impressions from the small town. Since songs like "Perspectives" and "Friday Night" have attracted worldwide attention, orbit's cosmos has grown cautiously but significantly.

Marcel's friendship with the artist Parra For Cuva enabled him to go on his first support tour in the USA in 2024, followed by a tour as opener for Ben Böhmer. orbit now takes place on international tours and festivals and at the same time tries to maintain close contact with the community. This collective idea has been an integral part of the project since the beginning of the journey - from organizing small shows to self-designed merch.

This approach evolved over time and led to a new highlight in 2024: DIY shows in Mexico, coordinated together with friends from the orbit community - partly via FaceTime and with people previously only known from Instagram chats. orbit combines "mindfulness" and "adventure" and, even with international success, remains a heart project with DIY at its core: with self-built stage sets, handmade merch and self-produced music videos.

After an almost completely sold-out first leg of the European tour in winter 2025, Marcel and his friends are back on the road this year. With a band that has been expanded to a trio and an as always magical stage design - inspired by the rural idyll of his home country - orbit allows you to immerse yourself in his dream worlds. After headline shows in London, Paris, Oslo, Berlin, Cologne, Paris and Prague, among others, further shows in the USA and Mexico will follow this year.

EVENT-INFO: The "Fenster Zum Hof"-Open Air - Mainz offers concerts of various pop genres, some of which are outside the genre, including classical music. The FzH26 starts on 24.7.2026 and until 23.8.2026 twelve dates await the audience in the most extraordinary summer location in the Rhineland-Palatinate state capital, when the concert agency Musikmaschine once again transforms the inner courtyard of the Landesmuseum Mainz into a festival area.
