Ouri started playing the harp and piano at the age of 5, but found her connection to the cello at 7. A self-proclaimed introvert who would rather go off on her own than feel out of place in the wrong company, she came to Montreal at 16 to study science - but ended up majoring in music composition.
Montreal's rave scene was the place where her artistic work took shape, and she established herself as a producer and DJ in the underground community there. Later, her classical skills led her back to composition. She brings her talent to various collaborations and lives out her preference for fitting into any genre sonically and taking on any role. Unique in the music scene, Ouri bridges the gap between classical tradition and contemporary expression.
