During her time as federal chairwoman of the Greens, politician Ricarda Lang tried to rid the party of its image as an unworldly "elite project" and to prioritize social justice - and was nevertheless confronted with the accusation of pursuing identity politics. She discusses this with author and dramaturge Bernd Stegemann, who is one of the harshest critics of Wokeness and accuses the Greens in particular of being more concerned with moral self-aggrandizement than with problems.
