Philosophisches Café: Vom Morgen noch träumen?

In the organizer's words:

It is noticeable that many in today's society are increasingly only concerned with their own interests and money. We will reflect on the reasons for this situation and ask ourselves what social processes might be behind it and what it says about us as a society. We will then consider how, in a world that is extraordinarily individualistic, community is still possible and how we can imagine a future that is not simply a continuation of today.

The speaker studied philosophy at the universities of St. Petersburg, Wuppertal and Prague. Since completing his Master's degree in "EuroPhilosophy", he has been working on his doctorate at the University of Wuppertal.
