With Pinocchio dreams the carnival, an extraordinary music and storytelling project is coming to the stage in Germany for the first time. The well-known character Pinocchio embarks on a poetic journey through fantasy, sound and imagination and encounters the musical characters of the "Carnival of the Animals".

The performance combines literature, music and storytelling to create a sensual overall experience for a wide audience. A narrator takes the audience on a musical journey and guides them through the evening's soundscapes. Works by Camille Saint-Saëns and Fiorenzo Carpi merge with a specially developed dramaturgy to create a multi-layered atmosphere that appeals to the imagination and emotions in equal measure. The piece is suitable for classical music beginners as well as being a special experience for experienced listeners thanks to its artistic quality and depth.
