Piscolabis - Karmen Kraft & Pepita Glück

Karmen Kraft and Pepita Glück meet in pure pleasure. From the skin and the gaze to the bite and the sip - everything blends into a lively feast in which the senses take command.

Their joint exhibition Piscolabis is a sensual dialog about closeness, freedom and transience. "Piscolabis" means a small taste in Spanish - short, intense, pleasurable. The title also refers to their own way of meeting and working together: shared moments, conversations, laughter and collaboration that are enjoyed like small celebrations of life.

The exhibition thus arises from both their friendship and their artistic practice - from the joy of those brief moments that remain.

Karmen Kraft 's work shows intimacy and the freedom to feel comfortable in one's own skin. She works on canvas and paper and presents works that suggest fragments of the body and gestures of touch. Her paintings are like brief encounters - tender, intense, honest. Through color, line and material, she explores the sensual dimension of the moment.

Pepita Glück complements this universe with colorful, textured and lively compositions in which spontaneity and play determine the rhythm. She works on canvas and paper in works that subtly challenge color theory. Her brushstrokes and dense layers of color invite us not only to see, but almost to touch - an invitation to reconnect with the joy of the tangible. Her painting celebrates the playful and the physical and evokes a sensual joy that you can taste with your eyes.
