At a harmless pizza party, a guest reveals that she is dying of a strange illness - and disappears. A portal opens and figures from the afterlife appear, asking questions, settling scores - and delivering pizza. Premiered at the newly founded Gold & Pech Theater in Höf-Präbach, the award-winning Nature Theater of Oklahoma creates a word- and melody-rich spectacle between chamber opera and impossible choreography in its acclaimed new play. Together, audience and performers struggle to understand the purpose of life and accept the inevitability and impossibility of death.
