POiSON GiRL FRiEND is a musical solo project by nOrikO, a singer, songwriter, composer, producer and DJ who lives mainly in Japan. She was born in Tokyo, grew up in Brazil, attended a French-speaking school there and spent some time in London. These experiences - classical music, Brazilian dance music, French chanson and pop, British New Wave, club and electronic music of the early 1990s - contribute to POiSON GiRL FRiEND's distinctive sound, which is characterized by the integration of different genres and global sounds.

POiSON GiRL FRiEND's high and delicate vocals, paired with the ability to create slow, somber tracks to upbeat melodies, characterize their music and take you on a trip-hop journey through emotional soundscapes.
