Pop im Park - Vol. 11

In the organizer's words:

On Saturday, November 29, it's time again for the 11th round of Pop im Park! This time, of course, with great artists again - from dark pop to acoustic singer-songwriters to electronic queer pop, everything is included! At the start are: TEYA, Roe Byrne, CARLI, Cosima Kiby, LEANNE DELIAH and John Riot!

Pop im Park is a small, intimate but very special event that was launched 2 years ago, where great artists bring their music to the stage and present it to an audience for the first time! The first event took place, as the name suggests, in the park, with a few boxes and a spontaneous idea and now the events take place regularly on the grounds of ÆDEN! Whether you're a newcomer or already have some experience - it's all about real music moments and new discoveries. This time, BandUp is also back as a media partner! They will be accompanying the evening, interviewing a few artists and capturing the atmosphere - so look forward to exclusive insights.

------------------------------------

Roe Byrne is a 21 year old Irish singer & songwriter. With influences such as Dermot Kennedy, Hozier and Coldplay; Roe has made his own unique sound that combines his favorite artists into each tune in a very special way. Roe has gained a wide range of support and interest due to his voice, writing and social media posts. He is very excited to see what people think of the new unreleased singles as he feels it's some of the best work he's made so far. Dermot Kennedy has named Roe Byrne "The next big thing in Irish music" during an interview with Joe.ie early in 2023.

TEYA first gained international recognition at Eurovision 2023 as half of TEYA & SALENA with the viral hit "Who the Hell Is Edgar?". Her new upcoming EP, "Corporate Composer", is a genre-blending project mixing Y2K pop & hip-hop attitude with lyrical depth, focusing on female empowerment and social critique. Notably, her track "Bite Marks" serves as the soundtrack for the new League of Legends series, which she performed live at the LoL World Championship Finals in China this November. Born 2000 in Vienna, the self-taught Serbian-Austrian artist is also a sought-after songwriter and creative director. Most recently, she co-wrote and oversaw the creative direction for the 2024 Eurovision winning song, "Wasted Love". With a powerhouse voice, razor-sharp vision, and undeniable business acumen, TEYA represents a new generation of unapologetic and fiercely creative pop artists.

CARLI(22) makes music with a clear, independent attitude. Her raw, unmistakable voice meets a sound between indie, pop and rock. Sometimes driving & rebellious, sometimes melancholic & vulnerable, her style is always uncompromisingly genuine and full of joy. Her songs are the unfiltered soundtrack for the 20s (love, departure, loneliness, longing), which she always sings with attitude - sometimes with a wink, sometimes with an outstretched middle finger. Musically, she mixes influences from Avril Lavigne, Block Party, Lola Young, Zartmann and Bibiza to create her own vibe of nostalgia, snottiness and coolness. She has already proven her energy live with spontaneous street music, guerrilla performances at the Reeperbahn Festival and as support (Pablu, Freude, JAS). She is now officially opening her own chapter with her first song "CARLI".

Cosima Kiby brings rousing urban pop to the stage - honest, approachable and full of energy. Her second EP "gegengift" (May 2025) now has almost 2 million streams and has been featured several times in Spotify editorial playlists such as "New Music Friday Germany" and "Popland". With around 70,000 monthly listeners, tour support for acts such as Culcha Candela, Aaron and Fabian Wegerer and her first festival appearances, she has established herself as an exciting newcomer in German-language pop. Her lyrics read like a diary - sometimes full of heartache, sometimes about the loss of loved ones, sometimes with clear social criticism. In her concerts, Cosima creates a safe space in which everyone can be who they are - everything is allowed, from laughing to crying. Her shows are once-in-a-lifetime experiences that you want to return to again and again.

LEANNE DELIAH is a queer musician from Berlin whose songs deal with personal crises, toxic relationships, mental health and personal identity. Her music moves between rock, pop-punk and alternative - characterized by Y2K and 2010s nostalgia. Their goal: to create visibility for FLINTA* in the German rock scene and reach people who find themselves in their anger, vulnerability and strength.

John Riot is a Berlin singer-songwriter with roots in Frankfurt am Main - an artist who fuses pop, queerness and emotion into an irresistible soundscape. His voice is raw and vulnerable; the songs between heartbreak and euphoria. After taking part in The Voice of Germany, John moved to Berlin in 2020 - where club culture and identity merge. There, he signed a label and publishing deal shortly afterwards and released his debut single Lover in 2022 - the prelude to a sound that celebrates queerness, self-discovery and pure emotion. Influenced by the energy of the LGBTQIA+ community, John writes about love, transformation and what glitters between the lines. He has already performed on the main stage of Cologne Pride, on ZDF-Fernsehgarten and played his first concert in Berlin in 2024. Whether rousing on the dancefloor or intimate with piano and guitar - John Riot embodies pop with attitude, sensuality and soul.
