Quadrama – Am Ende des Tages

In the organizer's words:

A politically charged chamber play about responsibility, morality and the question of what remains when everything begins to totter.

At the End of the Day is a contemporary play about power, attitude and the seductiveness of convictions.
Four characters meet in a remote country estate while a vague threat approaches outside.
What begins as a conversation develops into a psychological power struggle in which positions harden, roles are reversed and supposed clarity turns into escalation.

Olivier Garofalo 's play combines the political present with dense, rhythmic language and poses uncomfortable questions:

Who bears responsibility when systems topple?
How stable are moral convictions under pressure?
And when does action itself become a danger?

Quadrama is an independent theater ensemble from Cologne.
With Am Ende des Tages, Quadrama presents its first major production and artistically explores current social tensions without providing simple answers.

The production is directed by the internationally experienced director Lily McLeish.
