Three kilometers to the end of the world

A small village in the Romanian part of the Danube Delta, where the shores glisten in the sun and the reeds sway in the wind. Adi is 17 years old and is spending one last summer in his home country. In the fall, he plans to move to Bucharest to begin his studies. But when he becomes the victim of a brutal homophobic attack one night, everything changes abruptly. His parents, who were previously unaware that their son was gay, take away his cell phone, lock him in his room and try to exorcise him of his sin with the help of the village priest. Meanwhile, the violent crime is covered up with the active support of the local police. In order to save himself, Adi must make a difficult decision and rely on the help of his best friend.
