radioeins Parkfest: Lawn Chair, Kat Menschik & Thomas Böhm, Das Paradies und die radioeins Band

Summer will soon be over again? radioeins is extending the summer "We sit outside and party" season until September 7 with the radioeins Parkfest in the Park am Gleisdreieck: concerts, readings, comedy - all for free and outside.

Today, Florian Sievers will be the first to take to the stage at 7pm. In his solo project "Das Paradies", observations of society and everyday life melt into light-footed indie pop with plenty of poetry. Sometimes melancholic, sometimes ironic, his music invites you to dream and reflect.

Afterwards, illustrator Kat Menschik and radioeins literary agent Thomas Böhm will present "Westend", the conclusion of Volker Kutscher's Gereon Rath series and the third joint project by Menschik and Kutscher.

Lawn Chair will then bring a rousing mix of post-punk and indie rock to the park. They write songs about "constraints, love, men and other depressing topics", as the Cologne-based band's homepage puts it. However, experiencing Lawn Chair live is anything but depressing. It is a euphoric experience!

And because the evening at 9 pm is still young, there will be a special comeback after the show: the radioeins band is back! Better than ever before.
