What is music - a place, a feeling, a sound? The Ramal Ensemble invites you on a unique musical journey at the intersection of memory and present, tradition and new beginnings.
In a chamber music setting, the musicians combine their own compositions with elements of Western and Arabic classical music, improvisation and modern sound language. The result is a multi-faceted sound fabric that plays with contrasts, crosses boundaries and creates surprising connections. This evening opens up spaces beyond the usual categories, in which music becomes a medium of shared experience. An invitation to ask the question: What does our present sound like? An experience that opens up new horizons and makes the diversity of our time audible.
