Recklinghausen Urban-Hike

The Recklinghausen Urban Hike is entering its second round and once again invites you to discover the city on foot. Instead of classic walking routes, the route leads through different areas of the city and combines exercise with new perspectives on Recklinghausen.

Participants can choose between two routes: 12 kilometers or 25 kilometers. Depending on how fit you are, how long you want to walk or whether you are walking alone, with friends or with your family. At the Recklinghausen Urban Hike, everyone will find the right distance. It is also an opportunity to get to know the city in a way that many have never experienced before.

The hike starts in waves from 9:00 am at a centrally located hike base in Recklinghausen. From there, the route leads through various parts of the city and shows just how varied urban hiking can be.

Along the way, participants will discover places of culture, sport and nature that will allow them to experience Recklinghausen step by step. It's not about speed, but about movement, encounters and the shared experience, together with the Urban-Series community. 12 or 25 kilometers of movement, exchange and urban discoveries are what the Recklinghausen Urban-Hike is all about.

The price levels are valid until the date stated on the website or as long as the respective ticket contingent is available. As soon as 500 starting places in a price level have been allocated, the next price level opens automatically, regardless of the time period. Note The prices stated apply to adults. Children under the age of 6 take part free of charge. Further discounts for trainees, students, pupils or children up to the age of 12 will be displayed during the registration process.
