Poets and thinkers are rare in Germany right now, so satirists have to step in!

And so, in their first cabaret program together, René Sydow and Christian Miedreich pounce on everything
program, they exaggerate and caricature politics and the private sphere, embody German archetypes and those

archetypes and those who want to become them. In doing so, they play both silly and intelligent
and people and deliver unerring and sharp jabs at the German psyche.

Will we meet Goethe and Schiller or Hinz and Kunz? Will the evening be revealing?

Will it be German or even more German? Either way, it will be political cabaret with German thoroughness.
but without being too German - after all, the two are MEN OF THE WORLD.

René Sydow is a cabaret artist, author, actor and director. The winner of numerous cabaret
and cabaret awards - most recently the Baden-Württemberg 2024 Cabaret Award (main prize) for the

solo program "In ganzen Sätzen" - is considered the most eloquent and important representative of the cabaret genre based on
generation of political cabaret following Arnulf Rating, Wilfried Schmickler and Matthias Deutschmann.

Like René Sydow, Christian Miedreich was born in Radolfzell on Lake Constance.
He gained his first professional and stage experience in the independent theater scene during his
training in Freiburg and as a member of the cabaret group BÖS-ARTIG under the direction of cabaret artist
under the direction of cabaret artist Ralf Hackler.
In 2004, he appeared in front of the camera for the first time, followed by a role in the feature film "Lamento" in 2006, directed by René Sydow.

Her first permanent engagement in the ensemble of Theater Trier followed in 2010, with roles in

acting and musical theater. Due to his versatility and his wide range of roles, he was

Christian Miedreich has been working as a freelance actor for 10 years, e.g. for the Burgfestspiele Bad
Vilbel, the Grenzlandtheater Aachen and as a regular guest at the Komödie Düsseldorf. He is currently touring
in the successful production "Achtsam Morden" by Studio Landgraf, with which he regularly performs at
German-speaking theaters and which was already awarded the INTHEGA Prize in 2024.

is also active as a narrator for audio books and radio plays and currently lives in Krefeld.
