In the framework of our collaboration with this year's Tanznacht festival, dancer Doriane Mbenoun and percussionist and singer Jarita Freydank invite you to an immersive workshop at Martha Ndumbe Platz (Nettelbeckplatz). This engaging workshop takes place right across from SAVVY Contemporary, one of our neighborhood partner institutions in Wedding.

Bodies, percussion, and voice come together in this shared exploration of rhythm, movement, and community. The space created invites participants to tune into their heartbeat, breath, and intuition, expressing themselves through sound and movement. Guided improvisations, playful exercises, and deep listening enable an exploration of the body as an instrument. Drums act as storytellers, and music becomes a shared language that brings people together.

This offering is open to all curious individuals who wish to experience connection, collaborative experimentation, and creativity in a group setting. No prior experience is necessary - just a willingness to move, listen, and be present.
