After "Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella" and "Snow White and Rose Red", Landesbühnen Sachsen is continuing its series of successful fairy tale productions by the Brothers Grimm. "Little Red Riding Hood" is a fairy tale about the love of nature and the solidarity that allows even the little ones to achieve great things.

Little Red Riding Hood lives with her mother in a small hut in the middle of the forest. One day, her grandmother is ill and her mother leaves Little Red Riding Hood to bring her home-baked cake and bottle of wine to her. The first time alone in the forest! With her mother's well-meaning advice in mind, Little Red Riding Hood bravely and excitedly sets off. Fortunately, she is not completely alone, because squirrels, hedgehogs and hares are keeping an eye on her, as are the big trees. But the wicked wolf is also lurking along the way and cleverly leads her off the path so that she can make her own way to her grandmother.
