Rough Trade Berlin x The Hives: 'The Hives Forever Forever The Hives' Album Listening Party

Be amongst the first on this Earth to hear The Hives’ new album ‘The Hives Forever Forever The Hives’ in its entirety. Simply pop down to Rough Trade Berlin on Thursday, 28th August 2025 at 8.30pm where you’ll also have the chance to grab yourself some exclusive Listening Party goodies, including tote bags, coasters, badges and more. First come, first served.

‘The Hives Forever Forever The Hives’ is released on 29th of August via PIAS and copies, including our Rough Trade Exclusive edition, will be available for purchase at the Listening Party.

This is a free event but you will need to get yourself a ticket to get in. Please note that the band will not be in attendance.

The creation of this latest marvel, ‘The Hives Forever Forever The Hives’, took place in both Yung Lean/YEAR0001’s and Riksmixningsverket studios. The latter bearing the name of none other than Benny Andersson, the famed member of the mighty ABBA, located in Stockholm. The album was recorded under the guidance of their long-standing collaborator, Pelle Gunnerfeldt, whose works with the Viagra Boys, Yung Lean, and Elvira are known far and wide. Moreover, a most distinguished guest, Mike D of the legendary Beastie Boys, ventured across the seas to join in the creation of this magnum opus, hosting the band at his studio in the sunny shores of Malibu. And the esteemed Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age lent his counsel also.
