Rubin de la Ana's flamenco fusions are characterized by the creation of new sound colors in flamenco in which the flamenco tradition is completely preserved. De la Ana explores the possibilities of musical creation on the basis of the flamenco tradition. He is a master who is all about the music and nothing about showmanship. His Flamenco fusión, for example, impresses with its magnificent harmonies, blending traditional flamenco sounds with the timbres of saxophone, cello and violin. Excellent! Released by MusicHub 2022, the album continues brilliantly: this time de la Ana concentrates on the piano, played by Johannes Doschew. As usual, the flamenco guitar is the central instrument, accompanied by Chiharu Bley's sensitively precise cello playing, enhanced by the timbres of the piano and complemented by Fernando Galán's escobillas and palmas full of varied accents in dialog with the guitar.

De la Ana celebrates flamenco at the highest playful level; his guitar playing is pure sound diversity with tender pianissimo tones through to powerful fortissimi, eliciting individual notes or even versatile chords from the strings. His meticulously guided and fabulously arranged musicians weave a fine tapestry of sound on which de la Anas' flamenco guitar can flexibly jubilate. It is fascinatingly light, wonderfully eloquent and perfectly underlines the unique character of each individual instrumental part.
