Andreas Weidmann's stories are sharp snapshots of a world that has lost its balance. Everyday scenes tip over into the uncanny, the familiar becomes threatening, the accidental inevitable. His characters struggle with guilt, habit, loss and the insatiable longing for control. Weidmann writes in a language of crystalline clarity - precise, haunting and full of beauty.

Andreas Weidmann, born in Munich in 1967, works as a specialist in neurology. His book "Der Findling" is a collection of stories.

Luis Brunner, born in 1998 in Mödling, Lower Austria, studied theater studies in Vienna and has been studying acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich since 2023.
