Schienenbuskonzert mit Castilho

Let a fantastic musician sweeten your evening! This Wednesday, Minna Thiel will be transformed into a large concert stage on a small scale with a live concert by Castilho.

Castilho is the solo project of Pedro Castilho, synthesizer player and backing vocalist for the psychedelic rock band Savanna. Since his debut in 2017 with the melancholy single "Come Back", he quickly attracted attention in Portugal. This was followed by other songs such as "Moving Fast, Moving Slow", "Lucky Ones" and "The Wind Blows", the latter of which won the Novos Talentos Fnac Award and was associated with his first major performance at the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon. His debut album Today we'll be the lucky ones combines these singles with new tracks to create a versatile synth-pop work with warm sounds, guitars and a slightly psychedelic touch. After a European tour in 2023 and concerts in over 15 countries, Castilho is now returning to Munich. Following his performance at Alte Utting in 2024, this time he presents an intimate solo show with piano and guitar - as a foretaste of his second album, which will be released later this year.
