Carola von Seckendorff has been on stage at Theater Münster for 30 years this very year, having previously played at the Wolfgang-Borchert-Theater for 3 years when it was still at the station. She has foraged her way through all kinds of roles from Goethe's Iphigenia and Stella, Schiller's Elisabeth to, most recently, a vixen in Funklerwald. She appeared in Münster's pubs for 18 years in over 200 performances in her solo "Welche Droge passt zu mir?

However, her artistic profile extends far beyond classical drama: with her label FreiFrau, she creates diverse research projects and as co-initiator of Stadtensemble Münster, she has been developing projects together with Cornelia Kupferschmid for years that bring theater into the heart of the city - into courtrooms, parks, living rooms or public squares. Her works combine art with social issues and create spaces for exchange, participation and a change of perspective.

Carola von Seckendorff sees theater as a lively dialogue with urban society - as a place where people meet, argue, listen and take action.

On "Schlag 5", she talks about artistic paths, collective processes, staying out of conviction - and why theater needs to be political and personal at the same time, especially today.
