10 years of Searching for Home - that's something to celebrate! The band collective from Leipzig is bringing its personal birthday party on tour. After three releases, more than 170 concerts together and several awards (1st Sparda Jazz Award, 1st Jazzfruit, 5th Burghausen Jazz Award), Searching for Home are bringing a rousing anniversary show of new songs and reworked classics to the stages of Germany with various side trips abroad. With a fresh sound, the musicians shed light on the most diverse aspects of interpersonal relationships. Whether it's about relationships with oneself, hyper-focus on one person or living apart - the band collective tell their stories with a driving forward momentum and incredibly infectious optimism. Led by the versatile voice of singer Ida, pulsating grooves, fat brass sections, driving bass and guitars as well as sophisticated synthesizer sounds constantly bring new facets to the energetic live program. Searching for Home thus set new standards in their field of research between jazz and pop.
