Sector 5 with their recently released debut album "More Than Gold" live on 13.12. at Terzo Mondo - Support: Bentez & Cosima Kirby

The Berlin pop-rock band Sector 5 emerged from the early enthusiasm of three brothers for bands such as Nirvana and the Foo Fighters. With their unique blend of distorted guitar sounds and catchy pop melodies, they began making rock music at the tender ages of 9 and 6.

During their time at the British Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM), the band grew to four members, including Mika (lead vocals/guitar), Sami (drums), Jules (bass) and Onno (lead guitar). Sector 5 has already conquered impressive venues such as Täubchenthal, Gretchen, Festsaal Kreuzberg, Kantine and Lido and performed at festivals such as Blankit Festival and Rocktreff, as well as international showcases such as Canadian Music Week (Toronto) and Africa Rising Music Conference (Johannesburg). Their passion for music clearly shows on stage as they establish themselves in the vibrant Berlin music scene.

On December 16, 2023, Sector 5 reached a significant milestone by winning both the German Pop & Rock Award and the Best Rock Song Award at the prestigious Siegerlandhalle in Siegen. This triumph follows their recent victory at the "Welcome to Europe" Song Contest at Europapark, where their final song "Move to London" scored success on the Amazon charts, received widespread radio airplay and even found its way onto television. Recently, Sector 5 also opened for the Slovenian band Joker Out on their German tour.
