SHOW OFF of our open material and maker workshops - closing event with a great family program

Over the past few months, we have once again opened our DeKonstruktions-Cafés at the weekends. You were able to bring your old or broken items to five exciting topics. Together with our experts, we examined them, took them apart and created completely new things from them. The results were the most creative and unusual.

We also experimented diligently in the EcoDesignLab: Over three workshop weekends, we recycled waste, made paper from old flyers, melted down plastic and even worked with dust.

We would like to celebrate how much fun sustainability can be - and the great ideas that have emerged - together with you on 20.12.2025.

You can look forward to:

• An exhibition where you can discover our results and work processes
• Hands-on stations where you can make and design small gifts
• A joint tour, followed by an exciting but family-friendly panel discussion about materials, footprints, handprints and new aesthetics with guests from Trash Galore, the Material Buffet and our designers from the workshop and project management. We want to get into conversation with you about what transformation can look like in everyday life and what this could mean for us as individuals, but also for our community.
• Accompanied by music from Maria Schüritz, who will demonstrate with her upcyclophones how exciting the sound of reused things can be

Under the motto "Sharing instead of throwing away: Together we use knowledge, materials and ideas", we want to show how creative and playful sustainable design can be. Come along - you don't need any previous knowledge and all generations are welcome!

Our DIY café will take care of your physical well-being with homemade cakes and colorful children's cocktails (cash only).
