silent green Open Lab #2: Nektøne Trio + MISHA

silent green presents

With silent green Open Lab, we are delighted to be able to establish a new format for young Berlin musicians who are taking their first steps on stage - beyond the pressure of expectation or market presentation.

Promoting young talent and revealing artistic processes is very important to us at silent green - and that's exactly what Open Lab is all about, which is deliberately not intended as a pure showcase, but as a space of opportunity: for the step into the public eye, for encounters, for resonance and further development.

Both solo acts and ensembles/bands from Berlin whose approaches not only demonstrate individual artistic expression, but also a desire to explore and transcend genre boundaries - between electronic music, improvised practice, pop, spoken word or performance - were eligible to apply.

Nektøne Trio
Nektøne Trio is an experimental ambient music project based in Berlin.

It consists of the musicians Ale Giacchetta, Lára Puntin and Nele Martini. Nektøne explores through a dynamic interaction between string instruments (cello, guitar, bass), hardware (modular synthesizers, pedals and sound generators) and digital tools, creating a unique soundscape live.

Apocalyptic Postcards.

Campo Minado ('Minefield') is a sensual journey through the images of war that stick in the memory. A scenic construct, almost dreamlike, like a flashback or déjà vu, timeless.

Destroyed territory, "free will", transhumanism, post-apocalypse, mistakes - and a new "state of being" that emerges from the rubble, something unknown emerges. Where body and sound act as detonators of the invisible.
