Simon & Garfunkel Tribute meets Classic – Duo Graceland mit Streichquartett und Band

With songs such as "The Sound of Silence" and "Cecilia", Simon & Garfunkel created poetic anthems for an entire generation. With "Bridge Over Troubled Water", a composition of simple beauty went down in music history as a message of hope.

For several years now, the duo Graceland has been intensively tracing the musical spirit of their role models and touring the country with the program "A Tribute to Simon & Garfunkel" with great success.

Thomas Wacker (Paul Simon) and Thorsten Gary (Art Garfunkel) quickly realized that the music of Simon & Garfunkel was perfect for combining the countless classics of the world's most famous folk rock duo with the unmistakable sound of a classical string ensemble, giving this music a completely new, unmistakable sound.

The interplay of the two voices and two guitars with the classical instruments transforms the songs of Simon & Garfunkel into an expressive and extraordinary musical experience. Concertgoers can expect an evening full of emotion, a tribute to the 60s and 70s and a musical diversity that is rarely found anywhere else. With band and quartet, you will roam through the soulful songs and "rock" your audience elsewhere.

The concert starts at 20:00 and admission is at 19:00 in the STADTHALLEN Wetzlar in Brühlsbachstraße 2b in Wetzlar.
