Sleaford Mods live open air at JunkYard Dortmund!

Sleaford Mods, the electropunk duo from Nottingham, don't just create music, they take the pulse of society. Jason Williamson, who spent his youth on a farm and dragged himself through odd jobs and failed acting and band projects, found his language in rapping. At his side: Andrew Fearn, who builds a foundation for Williamson's tirades with lo-fi drums, bass lines and seemingly simple loops. Together they create something that is hard to categorize - somewhere between post-punk, minimal electro and hip-hop.

Their new LP "The Demise of Planet X" was released on January 16, on which they combine rolling beats
and atmospheric electronics with Williamson's cutting commentary on the present.
