Hildegard Niebuhr

was born in Leipzig in 1991 and received her first violin lessons at the age of 5. From 2008, she studied at the Schloss Belvedere music high school in Weimar, where she graduated in 2011, before taking up her bachelor's degree with Thomas Brandis in Lübeck in the fall of 2011. From 2015 onwards, she studied with Daniel Sepec and completed her master's degree in 2020.

Since her childhood, Hildegard Niebuhr has gained a lot of experience in various ensembles and orchestras, her time as concertmaster of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester from 2015-17 was particularly formative.
