On Sunday, August 31, 2025, it will be rousing and passionate at Clärchens: The Omar Massa Trio invites you to a special concert evening - in the middle of Berlin, in the unique Hall of Mirrors of Clärchens Ballhaus.

The Buenos Aires-born bandoneon virtuoso and composer Omar Massa, celebrated as the successor to the tango revolutionary Astor Piazzolla, combines the authentic sound of his home city with the elegance of the European chamber music tradition in his own compositions. Together with the Norwegian violinist Miriam Helms Ålien - one of her country's most exciting musicians and winner of the Princess Astrid Music Prize - and the French-Vietnamese pianist Kim Barbier, known for her performances in renowned concert halls from the Berlin Philharmonie to the Palau de la Música, the trio explores Tango Nuevo in a very unique way.
