On 29.11.2025, the SONUS FEMINÆ concert series will conclude its 2025 season with the concert LADY LUMINARIES II at Villa Elisabeth. This concert pays tribute to the outstanding female composers of Viennese classical music and celebrates their impressive careers in a musical landscape dominated by men.

This evening will focus on female musicians such as Marianna Martines, Maria Theresia von Paradis, Maddalena Lombardini Sirmen and Maria Antonia Walpurgis. They shaped the musical history of their time and created great works for orchestra. The Protean Quartet will take part as a guest ensemble and will perform a string quartet by Maddalena Lombardini Sirmen, among others.
