How does life go on after the occupying forces have left? SPLITTER OF LIGHT - Уламки Світла accompanies five survivors in Butscha for three years. The turmoil of the disaster and a war raging on in the country shatter their plans and dreams. They want nothing more than to rebuild their pre-war lives. Carrying the burden of trauma within them, they seem to face almost impossible tasks. Nevertheless, they show love, a willingness to help and solidarity.

Then wounds within society also become visible. How does living together change under the conditions of an imposed war?
